NL $200 - Two weird spots...
Both hands went down at the same table within a few minutes of each other. The PF minraiser in this hand is a whale, about 45/15/3 and terrible. Over aggro, over-values hands, etc. Sometimes I'll reraise him here, but I decided to flat call in position this time. He'll c-bet pretty much anything, even 3-way, so I probably should have raised the flop. I'm not sure what to do here on the turn though. Not much info on the SB, but I assume he's fishy.

The raiser in this hand got his stack by flopping a set against AA, and then stacking an idiot's A8 with AA (he got 3-bet in that hand and 4-bet his AA, idiot called and shoved the flop with a gutshot). Is the turn a standard shove? Re: NL $200 - Two weird spots...
hand 1: i like calling down vs. this villian. Playing against these idiots is high variance for sure, but you cant do much about that. Just calling keeps him betting with air or whatever worse hand that he thinks is the nuts.
hand 2: without any reads on villian, i'd assume you're behind on the turn here. I would bet less on flop, basically no worse hand is calling anyway and to fold out smaller pp or protect vs AK/AQ a smaller bet is enough. |

Re: NL $200 - Two weird spots...
hand 1 - raise flop or turn, don't worry about SB, your never behind to him. I'd def shove turn once I got there though.
hand 2 - mehhhhhhh, I wouldn't 3 bet pre probably, and i prolly dont' fire that flop, once you get to turn I'd actually consider c/c since shove only folds out QQ thats better and thats not even that ilkely. By the way, when I played on UB, you played WAY to much |
