Default TT OOP

Not enough history to count with this villain. What is the standard play?

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $1/$2
6 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $208.90
Hero: $223.20
CO: $87.55
Button: $158.90
SB: $75
BB: $313.20

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG+1 with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
UTG folds, Hero raises to $7, CO folds, Button calls, 2 folds.

Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($17, 2 players)
Hero bets $10, Button raises to $40.

Bet more on the flop. This is way too small to be a standard cbet size from OOP.

I hate spots like this, I probably call and fold if he pots the turn, but when he bets 1/2 pot on the turn is when i'm really lost.

Fold. You're OOP, just over 1 PSB left if you call, not many good turn cards. Even if he is a shortie, i think his calling range of a shove crushes you.

Fold overpairs whenever someone raises while OOP? This is so vulnerable. I would love it if all my opponents played it this way.

It's not exploitable if you adjust your ranges properly in future hands. If you're saying call or 3bet here, what range do you put him on?

For me, depending on my opponent, it could be as wide as ATs+, AQ, a set, 99, A9, 98.

With no reads I would just fold and pay attention to villain's next moves.

67s, 78s could be his hand here also. A suited A8 could also be a hand as he is in position and you do not have a read on him.

I'd agree with betting more like $14-15 on the flop.

With his raise, if I'm putting him on a hand like 67, A8, 89, 99, I might just call here knowing that is a good card rolls off, I'm betting about 2/3-3/4 the pot.

I'm not raising here because I don't know what he could have without any information on him. JJ, QQ, 78, 77, 55, 88 and I'm beat. IMO it's just call and see the turn, or fold and wait for some more info on him.
