Default bluff opportunity?

I cant find the hh but it was like this

Hero (~$40)
villain (~$40)

.10/.25 BB NL holdem PS

Hero dealth [8h,9h]

preflop villain raises to 1, hero calls

flop 10,7x
villain bets pot hero calls

turn x
villain bets pot hero calls

river Ad
villain checks (pot is about $15

basically i was able to narrow his range to qq,jj. I knew he had this range and yet i didn't bluff him because i though he is snapping everything with jj/qq right?

is there any way to bluff this?
i think river shove/bluff is the only way correct?

I dont like it, it doesn't make sense for you to be calling down pot bets with an ace. Much more likely he's starting to think you've got a set but if he has jj/qq like you say I think he'll still spite call your bluff.

I'd probably fold the turn.

agreed i think, fold oesd on the turn to a psb. without knowing raising positions and about any limpers makes it hard to assign a range but i think JJ/QQ is so tight, he could easily have an A himself.

cold calling a 4xBB raise is a bit spewy imo and when i stopped doing it without reads, (or multiway pots) my winrate increased a lot

EDIT:didn't mention the bluff, i don't like it, your opponent has to read you for a set or AK for it to work and most people at 25nl won't do that

Call flop, stacks are deep enough. Fold turn.

As played, don't bluff the river. You have zero validity here in betting, any decent player knows you're not calling down with ace high.

Regarding the bluff possibility , why would villain be able to exclude AT from OP's range if he bluffed?

This is a typical hand where villain might put you on a draw.
He's checking to LET you bluff the river.
If he's a good player he will often do this if a draw didnt hit, he'll call no mather what if he's checking to let you bluff.

Bluffing is so villain dependent. Its hard to be confident enough to bluff without knowing more on the villain and the lines he takes with/without a hand.

I just fold turn here.

Fold the turn if you're calling just to hit your hand. If you call it should only be because you think you can steal the pot a decent amount of the time when you don't hit your hand. This is somewhat villaind dependent - does he fire 2 barrels often? Have you seen him showdown bluffs?

So I would be inclined to bluff the river given my call on the turn and usually when the river is checked to after betting the other streets villain is prepared to fold to a solid bet.

But generally, this is a clear fold on the turn imo.
