Default Bodog/ UB/ AP mutual fraud protection (more senseless bannings)

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...part=2&vc=1

Long story short:

If an account defrauds any of these sites they now "Warn" each other and give out all the info of the account and any accounts associated with it(without regard). The sites receiving this info immediately freeze any related accounts on their site without looking into it.

Bodog apparently had a fraudulent account on their site and released this information to the other two sites, which effectively banned non-related accounts and computers. They will provide no explanation as to how such an error could occur.

Thanks for the cliffs notes of the very short thread at the top of the page.

This is very common among casinos and sportsbooks. They keep a blacklist of players that have done chargebacks. It does not surprise me that poker is doing the same thing.

Thing that bothers me about this is that some sites are more account freezing inclined and less trustworthy than other sites, and I don't like the idea of that site being able to freeze the accounts at the more trustworthy sites.

Also while one site might be funded by a credit card, another site might be funded with an e-wallet for deposits and withdrawals.

In addition the customer service response times to resolve an account freezing at some sites are much slower than at other sites.

And some sites are just lazy. They wont look into what the other sites report.

Not to mention. They are completely different business that have nothing to do with each other (bodog/ub)

I was more or less trying to start a new thread with a more appropriate title to warn players about what might happen to them.
