Re: FT200 Kinda weird riverspot
The main thing I have about valuebetting is that his preflop play really makes me question if he ever has anything that will call.

You have the bets hand here most of the time, so you should bet. Let him do the calling. He limp called a big raise (whats up with that?), so he almost sucks per defenition. Just bet. |

Re: FT200 Kinda weird riverspot
I think you have to block because c/c sucks (we're valuetowned a lot of the time I think) and c/f sucks (but he'll still bluff us sometimes and we don't want him to get away with it).

Re: FT200 Kinda weird riverspot
I'd c/c...I guess it does suck, but if you bet $10 or however much you want to try and block with and you're raised you probably have to fold, and you're still probably getting bluffed some of the time. If you c/c, maybe you have to call $70 or so and sometimes you're looking at a flush, but other times you're looking at A7 with the A of hearts or something like that. Or even QJ with the J of hearts. I think it keeps the pot smallish and still gets some value when you're best. If you bet, you risk having to fold to a huge raise.

[/ QUOTE ] you're right. it's completely obvious that he limped with AhX and you should check to use this 19/5's insane aggression against him and pick off his inevitable bluff....nh, wp, congrats, etc. |
