Re: NL100, NFD w/overs in 3bet pot
Hand 2 you're getting >1.9:1; you realize that you are mathematically losing money if you fold this, right? (yeah, he can have a set, but if your overcards are EVER good then that's completely negated)
I think hand 1 might be a c/shove to snap off bluffs from tighter players, but against this guy he probably won't fold anything he bets (any pair or any overcards) so I'd rather two barrel AI and obv call a shove. |

Re: NL100, NFD w/overs in 3bet pot
[ QUOTE ]
Check call the first one save he has 99+ a set ur behind, 2nd one just fold. 14 outs if that is only 14/45 is what 30%? I like the 1st board best though. [/ QUOTE ] god i don't even know why im correcting you here but even a conservative estimate of 12 outs leaves you with pretty much a coinflip on the flop, where are you getting 30% from? |

Re: NL100, NFD w/overs in 3bet pot
I think I screwed hand 1 up.
I checked, Villian bet $30 and I raised All-in for $85 total. Villian called and I bricked out against his QQ. Hand 2 I snap-called and bricked out against his QJs |

Re: NL100, NFD w/overs in 3bet pot
Of the two hands, hand 2 is far easier, and I wouldn't be surprised if you were ahead. Villain likely has the same draw or a hand like T8, QT, or even 78. I seriously think 7d8d plays this hand this way. Anyway, this is an enormously easy call.
Is $4.5 a standard open raise in NL100 now? Anyway, on the flop, bet, 3bet, call allin is your line if you're going to play this hand this way preflop and get this kind of flop. Open shove is lame. |
