Re: Sound not working on Tilt.
Have the same problem here....and trust me, it makes 10-12 tabling quite more challenging without the sound alerts

Re: Sound not working on Tilt.
I'll bet all of you having sounds problems own a Dell. I only have that sound problem on Full Tilt on my Dell and everyone I know as well. That's all I know for now but if I remember correctly, I believe my friend found out a solution. First of all, can you all confirm that you guys have a Dell? I'll talk to my buddy and let you know. No guarantee.

Re: Sound not working on Tilt.
I have a Sager, so it's not unique to Dell. My sound card is a Realtek AC'97 Audio card (maybe it's Realtec drivers). But I find that once the sound goes AWOL, the only way I can get it back is to re-boot.

Re: Sound not working on Tilt.
I run FTP on my main XP machine (which I built), and it works just fine. If I try to use it on my Dell laptop (running Vista), I encounter a strange issue. Sometimes when cards are being dealt or folded, or when someone is betting, the audio starts to repeat (like a broken record) and the window freezes up for a few seconds. So say someone folds. I'll hear the folding sound 6 or 7 times and everything will freeze. Maybe 5-10 seconds later everything quickly catches back up. If action is to me, I usually have a second or two to react to bets and/or the flop/turn/river. It's quite strange.
I found that disabling the sound in the FTP settings fixes this issue completely. I can live without the sounds, but I would prefer to fix this problem. Thanks! |

Re: Sound not working on Tilt.
I have a dell and it is a very annoying problem. There is another thread about this with some solutions. Some people play a long music list in winamp with the sound of winamp turned down to zero. I only tried that for one session, but it seemed to work for me.
