Default $12 Q10o push/fold situation

This is a marginal spot according to sngwiz, but the ranges are not accurate enough, I think. I play 12 tables, so no specific reads on calling-ranges. Too marginal to push?

It definitely a SNGWiz question. If it's coming up as marginal, then I'd fold. I like a fold, because the button is going to be pushing wide given his stack.

Ok, some results I got with tight and average ranges.

Tight: BTN: 14+, SB: 12+, BB: 14+ Hero: diff% 0,24 (suggests a push)

average: BTN: 16+, SB: 14+, BB: 18+ Hero: diff% 0,03 (fold)

I think it's better to let this hand go for 2 reasons.

1) It's still marginal even if villains are tight/very tight. But if your assumptation is not accurate and they are loose, you are making a big mistake. So your reads need to be very accurate to avoid to make a big mistake and you gain only slight +$EV if they are right. As you 12table, just fold it.

2) Chip stacks. If you get called and loose you will be crippled and in early position, not good for the future. If you get called and win, you will have 15-20BBs what is nice, but hard to play as your villains can easy resteal. If you don't get called, you will have about 12BBs in early positions, so all you can do in playing is waiting for monsters. But if you want to wait for monsters you should avoid a marginal gamble at this time.

The only reason I see to take this marginal situation would be if blinds will rise up next hand or so, but on full tilt the blind increase is so low that this is not a problem or should encourage you to gamble in this spot.

Clear fold...not because the numbers are exceedingly clear (unless you have solid reads that the remaining players are very tight)...but because you will find many better spots at a $12 to get your money in.
