Raise to 12. Shut down if called. Calling and Folding both Suck. Stacks are deep enough to raise fold imo.

this is really, really bad. what ranges are you putting villains on that you think you're crushing? most likely we're up against a flush draw at the very least (that has decent equity against our hand on the flop), and very often there's an 8 involved here. after just limping preflop (which is a mistake), this is a pretty easy fold on the flop.

Im considering it. Ive come to the realisation that I really detest poker and I never liked it at all in the first place. All I liked was making money and winning. Im considering giving up for good

Don't we all? I have zero gamble when it comes to roulette or slot machines. Yet I make 2-3 times more than I otherwise would working at a kmart. Works all right while your still at uni.

No specific read, but opponents are all loose and bad, no aggressive tags.

[/ QUOTE ]

Bad is not a read. I think classifying your opponents as "bad" will lead you to get run over post flop. Maybe you have that "they could have any two here, I'm calling" mentality. You want your opponents to think that way about you.

And you really don't want this many people in this hand. Obv if you hit a flush draw you would be excited, but the chance that someone limped in with a 8x is too high. Just throw it away. "Consider how much you have invested in the hand so far."

Oh, and I have been running in to players that like to limp or minraise every hand, and i have decided that the best approach is to tighten up a little and get more money in post flop. The ones that are limping all the time are either just going to hand you their money when you raise or are going to call just as lightly as they are limping. Then your SPR makes more sense for the hand you have, and you have fewer decisions to make after flop.

nothing wrong with pf IMO. I like a $10ish raise but it's thin.
