0.50/1.00 NL Ad6h two pair facing river min-raise
I hate these sort of hands because this hand came right at the last orbit of my session. I had very negligible stats on villain. Is this a complete spew, and is there any way I can fold this hand?
Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) SB: $199.81 BB: $107.58 UTG: $74.14 Hero (CO): $96.50 BTN: $115.21 Preflop: Hero is dealt 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 Players) UTG folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $3.70</font>, BTN calls $3.70, 2 folds Flop: ($8.90) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">Hero bets $7.20</font>, BTN calls $7.20 Turn: ($23.30) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">Hero bets $17.50</font>, BTN calls $17.50 River: ($58.30) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">Hero bets $35.00</font>, <font color="red">BTN raises to $70.00</font>Hero??? Should I be slowing down on the river here because of the flop and turn calls or is my bet on the river fine? Thanks in advance. -gremlin |

what you do is bet 25 on turn and shove the river...

Re: 0.50/1.00 NL Ad6h two pair facing river min-raise
this is a crappy spot on the river, because there arent very many 2 pair hands that raise this river that we beat, and i doubt this is almost ever a bluff. that being said i dont think i could ever find a fold here especially given his smallish raise. i think you played the hand well.

As played call river. He could have tons of stuff you beat and you're getting good odds.
I also think it's fine to not slow down here vs. a random guy you don't have stats on. |

I don't think calling here is terrible, but I think a fold is better. |
