L.A. Games Good as the Hype?
I've heard a lot about how games at the Commerce like 10-20 and 20-40NL are really good. I've played mostly in Vegas 5-10 and 10-20NL. How are the games reallY?

The 10/20 games are plenty of action, with the right table selection. You may have to change once or twice, especially after a must move initial seating. Just tip the floor (Julien) and tell hime which table you want. The 20/40 can be plenty action packed with deep, deep stacks and some solid players. You will be vying with really good players to stack the "not so good" players. It is your best deal in LA.

What are the max buy-ins in these games? I was under the impression that the NL games in LA were short-stacked, but still played very loose-aggressive.

Thu night 2 weeks ago...
6 tables of $10/20 $600-no max 3 tables of $20/40 $2000-no max 1 table of $100/200 $30k-no max (Commerce usually has $50/$100 NL with a $5k minimum; I think it was bigger with the LoP going on down at the Bike) Edmond |

What's considered an avg sized win in these games? 10/20 & 20/40 respectively.

Some of my friends that play full time will say that sucks...more like 10-12k ..I play the 10/20 about 3 nights a week, and always buy in for 3k. I played the 20/40 a few times, but was over my head bankroll wise. I just follow the school of thought that if I triple up......its a good day. |

damn!! Do they usually have that many 10-20 and 20-40nl games going during the week or do you think it was because of the LoP?

They also had 7 tables of 1/2 $40 7 tables of 2/3 $100 9 tables of 3/5 $200 8 tables of 5/10 $400 With the 10/20 and 20/40, about 40 tables of NL in total. |
