CP 6/12
Been at the table for only 10 minutes so there isnt much as far as reads go. I do see that BB seems fairly tight. MP likes limping but raises with the better of his hands.
MP open limps, I raise A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] , blinds call and MP calls. 4 to flop Flop A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] check to me, I bet, BB and MP call. Turn 10 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] BB pauses and bets, MP raises and I do what? |

Re: CP 6/12
Fold. You raised pf and bet the flop, now BB is leading out into 2 players and MP is raising. With this board one or both have you beat.

Re: CP 6/12
As played fold the turn.
For future reference I would rarely raise A8s to isolate at typical loose/passive CP 6/12 games because it will likely be cold called behind you by at least the SB and BB and possibly several others as well. Then when you miss and bet it will continue to be called if anyone catches any piece of the flop. Much better to limp call and encourage others to do the same and you will win a huge pot when you hit your clubs or (not this hand but usually) 2 pair. |

Re: CP 6/12
wow... raising preflop is good.
as for what to do on the turn, probably fold at 6 12, not at 30 60... i dunno. gross spot, could he have a retarded QT? a fold seems in order |

Re: CP 6/12
It's hard for them BOTH to have 2 pair here when there are so many damn straight combos (16 j9+16 kj=32) that just got there. Also, the flop passivity combined with the turn ACTION seriously discounts some of the flopped 2 pairs, which leaves us only with some turned 2 pairs, which isn't that much when we consider that BOTH of them have to not have straights here. Further consider that one of the turned 2 pairs (AT) has us crying for our mommies. The pot is shorting us to fill up.
As if things weren't bad enough, we could be up against a flopped set (which would explain the flop passivity) or a turned set. gross gross gross In most 6/12 games I've played in, this is a FOOOOOOLD against unknowns. The situations changes obv with reads. |

Re: CP 6/12
Think you said villain was mildly retarded. I Told you they would say fold. I think the times we are ahead coupled with the odds we are getting to draw to a fh make this a call assuming you think he is real bad.

Re: CP 6/12
Yeah he is bad. I thought this was more of a 3bet or fold on a turn with so many draws, with BB having good odds.

Re: CP 6/12
Well the problem is that getting 4 bet would blow hard since we cant fold if he does so find a fold now if the guy isnt too bad. I was under the impression that he could have alot of different hands here. I think folding>3betting.
