Default JJ utg+1

Middle of a CRAPPO session in terms of luck going my way.

BB is 42/17/1. UTG is 25/22/2. I think that my image at this point is weak.

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is MP with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Flop: (9.33 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets, BB calls, UTG folds.

Turn: (5.66 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

River: (7.66 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: 7.66 BB

Did I botch this?

Yeah, but the number of smaller PP's here is pretty small compared to scared Ax's. I think this is solid against a player w/ the given stats.

I dont mind this. I do, however, highly doubt BB has unimproved overs (calling down with K high?)

That's precisely what I was thinking. Thanks for the feedback so far, guys.

Excellent in my opinion. I'm really glad you didn't check the turn because I kind of hate that. Betting the river is bad as Wook described.

Is not betting the turn and try to induce a bluff on river a bad option? I usually bet this turn also but I've been looking for different plays lately. Would checking the turn to induce a bluff on river better with KK or QQ since there are less overcards you have to worry about?
