K9s Against 40% Raiser

An early player open raises and you know he open raises 40% of the time in this situation. It is folded to you on the button or cutoff. Do you 3-bet here with K9s? I do every time but I thought I would check the thinking here. What is your minimum 3-betting standard here?

I 3-bet my standard opening hands (25%) against a villain that raises 40% from UTG.

Mess around with stove.

A5o, A2s, K9s, KTo, QTs, QJo

Has about 50% eq vs his range.

Add a few more playable hands like Q9s, JTs, T9s, 98s since they are pretty and I want to play against the idiot

OP, I think you can solve this by using pokerstove and combine the results with what you feel you're able to play profitably to create a default range. Then you deviate from this depending on how the table plays and how your image is.

Cool. Thanks for the advice everyone. My intuitive line at K9s was about right. I need to get pokerstove.
