Re: NL100: AQ on Q-high Board vs. Flush Rivercard
Rebuy pre-hand.
Bet 20ish on the turn. Did the J change anything? Since you checked, it's much more difficult to tell if he's on a draw or not. I think you gotta call this (assuming no reads). |

The only hand he beats that we beat is KQ in my opinion. So folding cant be too bad. I fold.

Is this a horrible spot to try to practice some pot control?

[ QUOTE ]
Bets more flop, bets the turn. [/ QUOTE ] I think flop bet is fine. Definitely bet turn, though. Nice pot sized bet. |

New to NL so I am still learning the game. That being said; Not betting the turn put you in a horrible position on the river. Villain is betting pretty much any river card.

Re: NL100: AQ on Q-high Board vs. Flush Rivercard
why are you playing AQ if you are afraid to bet when you hit? You have to pot the flop and I am 2/3 pot on the turn. You showed weakness - If i am villian I am betting that river too.
