Default first and last backpacking trip..to much?

30 days alone, i want to do thailand, nepal, czeck, italy, turkey, greece, spain, amsterdam and maybe london.

I'm worried this is going to be to much traveling, money isnt an issue. Do you think just doing 30 days SE Asia? is a better idea? or 30 days only Thailand? Most likely I will never be able to do another backpacking trip after this one.

And i can't take off more then 30 days of work.

its hard to see much of any country in less than a week other than looking out the window of a bus.
plus do you want to spend alot of your time just traveling between countries.

pick your favorites in order that are close by and go from one to another till you run out of time. this way you get the best of it all.

This is pretty ridiculous. Maybe if you had a year that list would be more reasonable. I would stick to a general area:

Thailand (and if you want) Laos/Cambodia/Vietnam etc (but probably just Thailand)

Nepal/N. India

Turkey/Greece

etc.

30 days is not long at all and your list takes you around the world. This really wouldn't be enjoyable IMO.

Why last?
Are you dying or something?
You can still travel as you age.

Also, trying to see an entire Hemisphere in one month is insane.
30 days in SE Asia is definitely doable. You won't be able to see everything, but will get a good feel for the region.

Not something my wife would do with me or let me do on my own. So I gotta do it before. If we get divorced then theres the potencial of more backpacking trips tho.

husband: I'm gunna go backpacking, be back in 30 days.
wife: WTF?

I'd say i could see wifes reasoning. However; you should talk about this w/ her. I mean dont hide your desires from her. IMO your relationship will suffer if you do.

Husband: Hunny remmebr I said I like backpacking? Well im going on a trip for 30 days.

Wife: oh okey. Glad you told me you like backpacking before we got married. Otherwise I would divorce your azz. Have a nice trip sweety!

Is this true? I'd like to go sometime and haven't heard any worse horror stories than a lot of places.

Untrue. Was there a couple of months back. Have two friends there now. While everything isn't "fine" politically, it's fine for tourists. The last thing the Maoists want to do is hurt a whitey.
