Results.
Ok, I got enough folds here, that I think this is starting to make sense.
The villian told me that he was absolutely sure that the BB's sequence probably showed a crappy ten, or maybe a smaller pocket pair. Villian had AQ. Ordiarily, he would fold the turn bet, because he would actually have only 6 outs against a ten, (because of the flush draw, he actually only have 4) Instead, he decided that he might be able to get the BB to lay down a ten if a king also came, so he counted more like 10 outs ( actually seven again because of the flush draw). It turned out that he didn't have that many, because the T2, thought a long time, said, I suppose you have AK, and made a crying call. but it was an interesting hand. I noticed that there were a couple of posters that folded reluctantly, and that might be enough to make the play worthwhile, if the BB didn't have the flush draw. Because if you raise the club ace, king, or queen, you are going to end up losing 2 or 3 bets on the river. Anyway, it was just a hand that I saw, and I thought was interesting. |

Re: Results.
Did villain think he could make BB lay down a crappy T because he had a read, or just because?
I guess it's a good play because I think the river is an easy fold. |

[/ QUOTE ] Don't know, I was sitting next to him, and I think he respects my game, and after the showdown, I think I gave him the raised eyebrow look or something, and he said, 'well it almost worked'. But we didn't really have a discussion of the hand. |

Grunch
BB should Fold. There I said it and I'm not ashamed. Reasonable LP raises when that river K shows? |

Re: Results.
I would never bet this river intending to fold the way the action has come down so far.
