Default Funny high hand at the Last Frontier

Wasn't directly involved, but I still LOL'ed.

Driving back home from Seattle on Friday and decided for some reason to pull an all-nighter at the Last Frontier north of Portland.

They have a $500 high hand drawing every three hours. 10 minutes into the 3 hours, some guy makes quad aces, king kicker. There are only 5-6 tables, so chances are good this holds up.

Hands, hands, etc. 2 minutes left in the 3 hours, the quad aces are still high hand. A new guy sits in at my table. His first hand, he makes a 7 high straight flush, with 30 seconds left to win the high hand.

I felt a little bad for the quad aces guys since he was only staying to wait for his $500.
