there's a guy on 2+2 who did an ask me thread or something similar about running his subway shops. i think he owned 2 or 3 of them. read his posts and may want to PM him w/ some questions.

The rent, payroll, franchise and advertising fees eat up all the profits. The only way to make decent money in these sandwich shop franchises is to own half a dozen of them or so.

I don't know a thing about franchising, but my opinion is to stay away. When I consider going out to grab a sandwich, going to Quizno's never enters my mind as a place to go and I propbably pass 1 or 2 Quizno's to get to the one I want.
