there's a guy on 2+2 who did an ask me thread or something similar about running his subway shops. i think he owned 2 or 3 of them. read his posts and may want to PM him w/ some questions.

That is right. Same goes with Quiznos and that is why the turnover is so high. The rent, payroll, franchise and advertising fees eat up all the profits. The only way to make decent money in these sandwich shop franchises is to own half a dozen of them or so.

I don't know a thing about franchising, but my opinion is to stay away. When I consider going out to grab a sandwich, going to Quizno's never enters my mind as a place to go and I propbably pass 1 or 2 Quizno's to get to the one I want.
