Re: AJ vs donk
From time to time i check-behind this flop. He can't have a good draw so a freecard won't hurt you very much. This way you can keep the pot small.

Re: AJ vs donk
Definitely not b/3/b with this history. If you think it will be EV+ to call an AI on turn, think for a bit, and call flop. He will sense weakness and try to push you off your hand more often on turn. If you think it's EV- to call an AI on turn, wait a slightly shorter time before you call.

Re: AJ vs donk
Only a mega nit would fold this flop, that's insanely bad. Raise him again on the flop and expect to get called by a huge range you beat. Don't overthink against tilting donk when you have TPTK on a good board!

Re: AJ vs donk
68/16 with a shortstack. You flopped TPTK and people are telling you to fold. You have to be kidding me. Call his CR and let him keep bluffing.
I get this type of hand like 5 times a day and call. I'm good around 70% of the time when the action goes down like this. |

Re: AJ vs donk
i dont think hes bluffing either but that doesnt mean he has a set. i reraise the flop because a 68 vpip has qj a lot here and he will at least call.

Re: AJ vs donk
I don't see the point in three-betting the flop, when all it does is take away his opportunity to bluff the turn.
The only draw we should be afraid of is a wheel draw, and that's 4 outs. I think he'll bluff turn often enough to make it worth the few times he hits his straight. But I might have overlooked something. |
