Default 8.80 First to act in 3 handed min-raised pot deep

UTG+1 is loose, raising a lot of pots and limping in to unopened pots. MP1 is playing solid. I call a min-raise in the BB. What do I do when I hit the flop in this situation? Should I have folded Pre-flop?

I think i prob fold pre, although calling dosen't seem that bad. I think i'd be more inclined to call if SB completed.
Check the flop, prob fold if UTG+1 bets and MP1 calls. Prob fold if UTG+1 checks and MP1 bets>3000. Maybe check/call if UTG+1 bets 2000-2500 and MP1 folds.

Considering I called the raise and hit the flop, is there no argument for betting out?

yes there is, though i'd fold this one preflop

you got top pair with second best kicker, so i think it's important to bet here, as you need to find out as fast as possible where you stand.

i'd make it about 3k here and try to take it down now. if i get reraised i fold, if i get called it is most likely an overcard hits the turn, so as long as there is not another 7 or a king i dont't invest any more chips in it.

i don't like checking the flop here at all, you got a hand now so you have to make an effort to take it down.

With only a 15K stack left and a 5K pot post-flop, Would I be committing myself by betting out on the flop? If so, would I be better off just shoving?

i don't think you commit yourself to the pot with a 3k-bet, as you have 12k left and the pot is 8k than and you hold a very vulnerable hand.

if you shove your risk your remaining 15k for a 5k pot - so this move has to work 3 out of 4 times to break even and i don't think that your a 75% favorite here.

I fold pre-flop, your getting about 6:1, and your hand is so weak that a single pair is pretty dangerous.

When you called this pre, you were eagy to see a cheap flop with good odds. Were you really thinking about going to war with K7s?

I flopped TPGK. If I am going to call the pre-flop raise is it only in hopes of flopping 2 pair or better? If so am I getting correct odds to call the min-raise?

[/ QUOTE ]You also might like to flop a flush, flush draw+King overcard, pair + flush combo draw, K flop + flush draw.
