Live 8-16. A hand I watched.
Reasonable playing LP open raises. Loose button calls. SB calls, and the BB completes with T2 of clubs. Flop T64 with one club. SB checks, BB checks, LP bets, button calls, SB folds, BB calls. Turn, 3 of clubs, BB bets, LP calls, button folds. River K of hearts, BB bets, LP raises, BBs Action?

Probably because we miss value if our hand is best. And it costs the same amount of money if our hand is not best, compared to a b/f on the river. But I don't know b/f is the line we should compare to.

You're not seeing many river bluff-raises. Not for something like just a King. Not 10%, or near it anyways.

I don't think a check/call on the river is all that bad. Look at how hero played so far: he called the flop and donked the turn (which brought a flush draw). Villain is to be suspecting hero was semi-bluffing and "giving up" a good portion of the time and may try to "steal" the pot with AJ/AQ or some total cheese (he openraised), or make a misguided value bet with a lower PP. OTOH, you get value from the A-high hands he calls with when he gets suspicious.
Generally when I hate flopping these kinds of hands 4-way because the pot's in that ugly halfway zone between obvious showdown and implied odds payoff.
