Fortune's Formula?...thoughts

william poundstone published a book not to long ago titled: Fortunes Formula...in it he describes an equation for money management and knowing how much to invest in any given opportunity. It was a fairly good read, however, i have been having trouble using the information in a practical, real-life way. Has anyone out there A> read the book? and B> been able to apply it to the stock market?. C>if so, has it worked out well?
