find a job you love and you'll never work a day in your life.
The trick is to make it a high-paying job... |

Because I've been without an assistant for about a month, I'm up to about 50-60% of the day. When I get one, I'll be able to get down to 30-40% (after whatever "teaching" period there is for my assistant).

Recently i went through a span where i seriously did about an hour of work in 3 weeks. This week its been about 3. I've been putting in 35 hours a week. I joined 3 fantasy football leagues!

when I am real busy at work, probably 81-90. Right now 61-70. When I am slow, prolly 30-40.
If I ever had a job where 100% of my time was spent working, I would quit. That sounds absolutely horrible. |

When I was in college I had a job in the psych lab that I got paid for 10 hours per week. It required 1.5 hours of work a month. Doing the math, I had the highest paying work-study job in history.
During the summer, I had a research grant which paid me for 40 hours of work per week. During the first 1.5 months I did no work. None. Not a single minute. Then I took some adderal and did all the data entry in a couple marathon sessions. I had played it off like it was much harder than it was, then just busted my ass the two days before results time. This past summer, I can honestly say I spent more time on 2+2 and poker at work than doing the actual work. It was pretty awesome. Now I am getting into a career based on accountable billable hours, which is going to [censored] suck. |
