I folded but I didn't like it. Makes me really question the turn call.

I'd bet flop, checking is ok though I guess. I call turn and fold river.

Is the fact that its 2 suited, and that we don't have a high diamond make you want to cbet it more or less? Against a tighter player I'd cbet here but villain was loose and I just saw him calling cbet lightly.

LOL, well then he's a drooler who lucked into a good bluff spot. Happens.

I thought it was a pretty good bluff if he was paying attention to my image. My hand seemed pretty face up after turn call.

don't know what you guys are talking about with regards to good bluff spot.

if you mean by good bluff spot that hes firing any river then yeah sure, good bluff spot.

I hate continuation betting on the flop. I think it fold out so little of his preflop range (only small pocket pairs). Plus you have a draw to a big hand which would suck to get check raised on by a combo draw or a big hand.

What i meant is that my hand was pretty face up when i made the turn call and he must have known i couldn't call his river bet with one pair. I'm not saying its a good play (as he has to fire both the turn and river strong to make this play work), but he must have known i don't hold a hand by the river that can handle much heat. I just felt I left myself open to being exploited on the river with my flop check, turn call.

well, your other options are betting flop (in which he checkraises and you have to give up), raising turn (seems kind of suicidal), and folding turn.
