I like Doyle's overbet vs Phil. He was probably thinking that Phil will fold anything less than QQ cause he's such an attention whore and wants to get as much TV time as possible. Plus, everyone knows Phil hates playing big pots.

Shut. Up. Phil. When you suck out with Q3 against QK, you don't get to bitch when you get re-sucked.

Doyle and TJ are my heroes.

I'm not the biggest Doyle fan out there, and actually like Hellmuth, but those massive overbets were definitely a case of Doyle playing the player, not the cards. He knows Phil doesn't like playing big pots, and so it works every time.

What do you expect from Hellmuth? He shouldn't have even been in the hand in the first place! I bet he doesn't even know how to spell Poker!

But yeah, that call on the end was ridiculously bad but then again, so are a lot of Hellmuth's plays against good players.

i think hellmuth broke his own record for longest consecutive complaining about one hand in one episode of poker on tv. i usually think it's funny when someone makes him go off, but after 30 straight minutes it was like 'ok, that's enough, let it go'. of course, he still holds the longest complaining about any hand with tj's accidental flush - many years and counting.

I've officially gone from amused by Hellmuth to annoyed as of last night.

"You're not even in the same league Eric". Please!

"I checked the nuts to him 30 times. I just kept checking and checking and checking..."

"I always let them bluff me, that's how I make my money."

It's like he has to try to justify his weak tight play by claiming it has a purpose. News flash Phil, if you really want to trap someone you don't announce it a million times before you do it and you don't whine every time they steal your blind because that's supposedly all part of your plan.

I seriously want to scream at the man. He turned what was otherwise a fun, casual, and entertaining game into a whinefest.

I was going to say that but I thought I'd be attacked by Hellmuth fanboys.

I'm rooting for TJ Cloutier, probably the most solid player at this table.
