[ QUOTE ] "PH is playing like [censored]." Does he ever not play terribly? [/ QUOTE ] fyp [/ QUOTE ] I was going to say that but I thought I'd be attacked by Hellmuth fanboys. I'm rooting for TJ Cloutier, probably the most solid player at this table. |

Re: Poker After Dark thread (Bracelet Winners - Tuesday)
I find it hilarious how Hellmuth was bitching about Siedel hitting a better two-pair on the river when Hellmuth raised to 1000 with Q-3 offsuit in early position.

That was a chilly exit interview between Shana and Layne.

WTF @ Doyle's bet and Hellmuth's laydown [/ QUOTE ] Wow, I take it you've never seen Brunson play before. All he does is play big-bet moronic, illogical, unexplainable poker all day long. Sure, it's gonna work when you draw out and get lucky and to frustrate opponents who fold - good on him. It's like 95% risk and 5% reward, ergo his shameful and dare I say woeful statistics in hold'em tournaments over the years. He has like a 0.1% cash record at best. He's the most overrated hold'em tournament player of all time, and it's not even close. Not to mention these PaD's are the only SnG's he's ever played pretty much, if you even count them as one. Aside: I'm not saying he's bad at poker. He's probably good at other forms, and of course he has to be one of the best in side games. But gee, it's not half hard to beat up fish billionaires whilst holding the nuts against their bottom pair, can it? I wanna see a reality show where some poker pro stakes an amateur online player into the big game and see how they go. Great TV right there. |
