"Justified" has nothing to do with it. Most of us are stating that we're not surprised that Absolute took the OP's money. Whether or not Absolute is justified is irrelevant. Absolute does what Absolute does. [/ QUOTE ] hopey your comments in this thread are pointless OP did you play after they rejected your transfer? My friend had problems in this area before the more info you can tell the better. or maybe it isn't |

How many threads do we need to see on here about Absolute seizing funds before people start heeding this advice? |

Re: Absolute Poker steals $1700 of my money?
Casinomeister often works as an advocate for players who have problems with online sites and has a good record of resolving legitimate disputes for others who have found themselves in your position. You might want to try contacting someone there to see if they can help if you truly have a legitimate case.
As you already know, most of the recommendations you'll get here are not to do things that could be viewed as money laundering. |

Re: Absolute Poker steals $1700 of my money?
The problem I have with OP's version of events is that $1700 seems like way too much money to deposit for the purposes of testing a site at the level of play indicated.
Any site would have issues with someone depositing that much then playing for a few hours before transferring all of it to someone else. |

Re: Absolute Poker steals $1700 of my money?
Well, they refunded my money after I threatened to complain to KGC, 2+2, and Casinomeister (all of which I did), so apparently it all worked out in the end.
Thanks! |

Re: Absolute Poker steals $1700 of my money?
are you serious? i think the upgrade made it worse, those little cards and numbers suck to look at, reminds me of bodog. How hard is it to have decent software, i dont know whats wrong with sites like absolute and bodog their software is awfull compared to the major sites (ps/FT) Is it that costly to have attractive graphics. Is it more expensive to be bright and vibrant as opposed to dull?
