Since starting my blog, I've had a few kind people stake/send me money.

What I've learnt is this: the only way I will ever win in this situation is a) if they send me the money one buy-in at a time, and b) if they are online and talking to me by IM while I'm playing. To which you might say "Well, why should they bother? Sounds like a lot of time for not much fun for them." To which I have no answer. But I've done a lot better when I've had someone watching me play and who I can talk to about what I'm going to do on a hand.
