Why are we still talking about a 3bet? I think Eskimo's post was just regular Eskimo-weirdness. It's bet/call no matter how you slice it.

I'm done with this discussion until you stop dodging the question and aggressively not making sense.

So if you're calling on the chance that something is happening, trying to establish how often said occurrence actually happens is a retarded question? Nevermind, I'm done with this discussion, period.

heh w/e...

to clarify tho: i was saying that refusing to engage in strategic discussion based on pot odds and hand ranges until an arbitrary and unrelated hand was posted was retarded.

It does not look like your villian is a normal tag who is a bit weak on the river (to compare with ops villian). Also because he raises UTG with qto and dosnt make a continuation bet on the flop against the blinds.

I dont think OPs villian will make a 3-bet bluff, and i dont think you can compare the villian in your hand with OPs.

i agree with all of that 100%. i didnt post it to make any comparison or point whatsoever. i posted it because it was requested.

general point: i think a lot of people in ml assume that other players are playing for the same reasons they are.

people seem to laugh when i discuss strat such as '[censored] you dont bet in to me raises' and yet that is exactly how many players, including your opponents, regularly play. the guy in my hand and hypothetically in the op's hand if he was to have 3bet the river without a hand isnt doing it as a bluff. he is doing it because he is [censored] pissed off with you at that point in the hand.

try looking at this from your opponents perspective:

preflop: 'why does this aggressive fish keep 3betting preflop'

flop + turn: '[censored] him he has nothing im calling down'

river: 'ahaha i knew it he has nothing, i can vb my A6/bluff my w/e...... wtf how is this moran c/r me here!!!!!'

ev is one thing, psychology is another (and swongs are another thing altogether ldo)

(btw im not saying we are good here >50%, but like ive already said 11.5-1 just makes any debate a non-issue)
