Re: Daliman WONG Teaser FAQ
Is there ever any +EV situation to use the 5, 5.5, 6.5, 7pt etc teasers?
I was thinking with 5dimes trying to counter the teasers, if you could use a different teaser amount to negate/backfire on them. e.g. All books have BAL at 2.5, 5 dimes has them at 3. would the better vig of a 5 point teaser on the 5 dimes line overcome the inti-teaser linemaking? |

Re: Daliman WONG Teaser FAQ
When the game is shaded that way, it's not anti-teaser, it's GREAT for teasers. If you tease 6, you get a push on the 9 (which would have been a loss), and if you tease 5.5, you get the same numbers as +2.5 teased 6 and a higher payout. Teasing a softer line is +EV (maybe not as much as just betting the soft line, but that's a different question). When a game is truly +3, and you have to tease from +2.5, you're giving up a half-point (and not getting a true wong), which is bad.

Re: Daliman WONG Teaser FAQ
You are right, 5 Dimes shades them the other way, I was thinking backwards.
So should (TRUE)2 1/2 and 7 1/2 point spreads be teased to 5 points to get the better vig, or is the extra point worth 5 cents or whatever on a 2 teamer? |
