very often, leading into the raiser at online full ring = i have a monster and i want you to raise [/ QUOTE ] Kit, i respectfully disagree. If you get donked on the turn as well, then this might be the case. |

[/ QUOTE ] it doesnt happen enough to make it wrong to raise AK on this flop (actually not raising AK here would be bad), however you should tread carefully against such a bet with middle pair. this "lead into the PFR with my set/straight" line is just something i've noticed my 1st 10,000 hands or so...but i just got back into online. maybe my sample size is too small. |

Re: AJo UTG
I dunno, in my experience it's usually just some kind of a pair. When you get donked again, it's surprisingly often "bs" as well. Buuut, maybe i've been "lucky".

Re: AJo UTG
classic debatable flop "hand protection" decision.
bb has tight stats and is donking multiway on a horrible board for him. i really doubt you have the best hand enough to worry about procuring extra equity, especially because some hands that will fold to your raise will lower the implied odds on your gutshot (namely 9x hands that make 9tjqk when you make tjqka). as played on the flop, the turn is standard and the river is an insta-fold. calling the river is burning a bet. |
