What exactly are the advantages of the floorstands? Basically I'm looking for the best sound I can get in the price range of that speaker system. I want computer speakers so I can just plug them into the built in 7.1 in the motherboard. Also, I'll be in a condo and don't really need a whole lot of power.

Also, I'm swithing to this case and power supply (mostly for my reference here).

Case:
Thermaltake Mozart Sx VC7001SNS Silver 0.8 mm SECC Chassis ATX Media Center / HTPC Desktop Computer Case - Retail

Power Supply:
Rosewill RD400-2-SB 400W,ATX12V v2.2 Power Supply 115/230V FCC, UL - Retail
I really like modular power supplies.

Cool, I'll probably pick up the 10ft, since I'm going to run it through a wall.

Logitech speakers? These are computer speakers you wont be happy using them in your living room. I don't think it makes any sense you want to spend $219 for the case and only half of that for the speakers... Don't know about American brands but in Europe you can get pretty decent 5.1 systems with built-in amplifier for about $200.

Also I suggest getting a mobile CPU for lower power consumption and a more quiet system.

This is not a good idea unless you like noise.

Also get a video card with passive cooling.

I owned a HTPC a while ago but DVB-S gave me too much trouble. I think there is better software than MS Media Center.

Already have the CPU with headsink attached, so I'm sticking with it for a while at least. Already have video card too so the same. If I install everything and decide it's too noisy, I'll look into upgrading down the line.

If someone could show me a good 5.1 system I might take a look, but I was planning on just utilizing the 7.1 card on the motherboard. I wouldn't spend too much more on them, though. I'm spending so much on the case, because any cheaper HTPC cases seem like crap I'm going to have problems with. I expect the logitech's to work.

Bigger speakers will give you better sound quality, c.p.. Your price range ($130 for amp and speakers) doesn't really allow looking for bigger speakers, so just stick with the Logitech system. Stereo music will sound like crap, but the surround effects in movies sure will be cool.

don't do the Kworld TV tuner. Go with Hauppauge. I have used both the PVR-150 and the HVR-1600. The drivers are sound enough to work with multiples if you wish to record with 2 or 3 cards on different channels... and the quality is at least DVD quality on the High Def. I don't have HDTV so I can't compare any better than that.
