$12 BB special line check
UTG+1 is a regular. UTG is unknown. Wasn't overly happy with the line I took although things worked out ok, basically was trying to keep the pot small, opinions?

Re: $12 BB special line check
i don't think you have to keep the pot small in a 12$ with trips.
i'd rr flop, or at least bet turn for 300-350ish. |

Re: $12 BB special line check
i'm nto sure if i'd have check raised the turn or bet out, but you need to get more than 180 in there. build big pots for your big hands against big donks.
if you raise and he folds instantly, he didnt have anything, so no need to beat yourself up over "betting them out of the pot." i also probably would have let out the flop for more than 1/2. maybe 3/4, but the pot is so small i don't think there's any difference really. just makes it easier to eventually get it in. after typing this out and thinking, i like leading out on the turn for about 300 or so. you could very well pick up the pot right there, or he might get stupid and try to bluff you off it. if he pushes, you're chopping a huge amount of the time, no prob there. |
