Wait, why should the short stack be DQ'd? Cause someone checked the nuts behind him? This is pathetic if the short stack gets DQ'd for someone else's play who has 10% of him.

???? Because they are both cheating? DUCY?

If I take an illegal drop unknowingly in the open, and my best friend who is my playing partner and marker who knows I incorrectly dropped and doesn't say anything...does that mean I shouldn't get disqualified just because my marker signed off on my card?

I think with your logic ZeeJustin is a honest guy who only cheated a little and accidentally so it is no problem.

There are 3 players in the hand. Does the other player also get DQ'd?

Since the short stack didn't break any rules, it seems rather harsh to give him any penalty.

In tournaments there are situations in witch it is the best strategy to check when holding the nuts on the river and being last to act.

Therefore this can not be a penalty unless it is stated in the rules that checking in this case is not allowed.
