100NL: TT, akward spot....plan?
Villain is 33/14/3 but i don't really have much of a read 'cause these numbers are all datamined. Anyone ever fold PF...is calling bad PF? Plan for flop, anyone just give up on the flop or is that too weak against this villain?

I'm just calling for set value here. Fold on this flop, he is not 3betting an UTG raisor with 99-. Only hand you beat is AK

Preflop is fine, you're in position so calling the small 3bet is standard.
The flop is close between calling and folding to a turn bet or folding the flop. I think calling and folding to a turn bet is best. |

Re: 100NL: TT, akward spot....plan?
yeah, my thoughts were lets call a flop bet and fold to turn pressure. Not really sure if we're deep enough to do that though?
Lets say a jack falls on the turn and he bets 2/3. Fold now right? |

Re: 100NL: TT, akward spot....plan?
Folding preflop could be alright against a very tough opponent, but against someone like this (that you don't know much about), its better to call and proceed from there, although its going to be difficult. Never feel compelled to play a hand just because it is good. hands have relative value not absolute value.
postflop-fold flop or call and fold turn. |
