Default Re: AA first orbit 20K stacks

This is a classic "leak": overplaying big starting hands. I know, because I've made my share of these mistakes.

NEVER 3 bet in this situation: keep it small. USe your chips to see more board, if possible. You are NOT pushing him off this hand. You may have the best hand now, you may be able to catch up (eg up against 8-9) or you may be in Deep Dark Trouble (set). Call his raise and see what develops.

If a club comes and he bets, fold.
If a 7 or Q comes and he bets, fold.
If a 5 or 10 comes and he bets, you got some thinking to do, but lean toward fold (similar for 6 or J, but less likely he has 10-7)
If a blank comes and he bets, you might have to call. I still favor a fold unless he bets weak.
You are of course hoping he will stop betting or that an Ace or 3 will come.
Of interest is what to do if a club comes and he stops betting. Obviously check behind on turn (btw you forgot to mention if you have A clubs--I am assuming you dont) and then you may have to call a reasonable river bet.
