Re: Chicago area question...
[ QUOTE ]
Resorts always has 10/20LHE & 20/40LHE game going. 40/80 and 50/100 is also common, especially on busy days. Regarding NL, there are 3 different games. 1/2NL $50min & $300max 5/10NL $300min & $1000max 25/50NL - usually runs on Fridays shorthanded. $1000min - NO MAX. I always drive up there, hate public transport. 1 hour drive is not bad at all. [/ QUOTE ] On a scale of 1-10, 10 being world class players. How would you rate the level of play in the NL games? What on-line levels would you compare them too? For example, I have found vegas 1/2 to = online ~.10/.25 |

Assume you are talking about the Resorts no max game, since no one near world class would probably bother with the $1K game. I play the $1K max game, average stacks around 60 BB's, & have never played the no max. In the $1K max, my opinion would be that most players at the main table are "typical", on your scale, a 5 or lower, with most probably around a 3, which I would equate with "advanced/experienced amateur", if a 5 is around entry level pro status. At the feeder table, if you can't make money, you should probably give up life & poker for sure. I have seen Boulous Estafanos (see card player db)at the no max table, and have heard that SuperTuan1 has played there. Don't know if other CP or P5 ranked Chicago area players might play there like BeLOWaBOVe, ComeOnPhish, or Round42. |

Re: Chicago area question...
Thanks for the reply.
What do you mean by Feeder table? Are you referring to the 1/2 game? |

Re: Chicago area question...
Poker,
The 5/10 NL $1K at Resorts has a "must move" feeder + main table set-up. So, everyone starts out at the feeder. Feeder players are then moved as seats open up at the main |
