Have you ever threatened a persons Avatar?

I was playin HORSE in a playmoney table just to practice.(And I have no real money on that site)-but thats besides the point. Anyways after being noncommittal in 30 orso straight hands, this guy puts a horror face on his avatar-I did not dig it-those steely blue eyes-they have no business on a poker site) So in other words I said change your avatar or ill bust you, you have no options. Anyways he soon went a way. My question is was that good or bad sportsmanship?
