over played TT?
This is the UB Sunday 200k Guarantee.
Villain running stats 21/11/3 at 200/400 and 300/600 levels. PFR from early position is 0; however, he was short stacked and just won a big hand a couple hands b4 this hand. Ultimate Bet No Limit Holdem Tournament Blinds: t300./t600. (Ante: t75) 10 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: t9300 UTG+1: t9210 UTG+2: t5060 MP1: t17565 MP2: t15620 MP3: t19760 CO: t9555 Button: t3645 Hero: t9455 BB: t19055 Pre-flop: (10 players) Hero is SB with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG folds, UTG+1 raises to t1600, 6 folds, Hero calls t1300 (pot was t3250), BB folds. Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (t4550, 2 players) Hero checks, UTG+1 bets t1700 I know I am probably going to hear that it was a bad check on the flop but my reasoning is that if he has a hand like AK then he might push to a feeler bet. I would love to hear some feed back on this hand. |

Re: over played TT?
i probably shove pf, and stack sizes on the flop arent so great for a call, i probably c/r allin if i called pf.

Re: over played TT?
okay, you think c/c is better than feeler bet? I guess I have to agree.
Okay, on flop villian bets 1700 and hero calls. Turn card is 9h. hero checks villian bets 2400. Hero??? My stack is now down to 6155 before I make this call. I have to start making all-in decisions b4 I make this call. |

Re: over played TT?
Fold turn, Bet sizes make it really unlikely that villain is bluffing unless hes very tricky.

Re: over played TT?
reasoning: you having 6k behind in a 6k pot on the turn, is not a good siatution, over cards arent going to keep bluffing at you, and have two shots at improving, and the pairs that'll pay you off (77-99) on the flop might get scared by overards or by your flop call.

reasoning: you having 6k behind in a 6k pot on the turn, is not a good siatution [/ QUOTE ] c/r flop is actually the line I took. So thats not such a bad line? At the time thats where I thought I was getting the most value. However, the call on flop SEEMS better but too many overcards can come and ruin my hand. Also, I would have a tough decision on turn if it comes w/ a card like a 9h and villian fires again. But I guess c/f turn would be best if I just called like "ImNotSoGood" suggested. |
