I created a monster...

this thread is tough because a lot of it is 'you had to be there' moments, or involve explaining the joke.

Towards the end of "Heat"

Deniro and his girl are driving to the airport. Jon Voight calls Deniro to tell him where Waynegrow is. Deniro says he doesn't care, hangs up the phone and smiles. His girl asks if everything is OK, he says yes and continues smiling. He's home free.

They're going through a lit tunnel as he's smiling but as they come out of the tunnel you can see his facial expression change. He's got to get Waynegrow. The timing of his facial expression with the lighting from entering and leaving the tunnel is brilliant. One of the most subtle, well-done scenes ever IMO.

Okay. There, you see the star is me, right there, and I'll be in there. The X is Anthony. Bob, you're the zero out here in the car.

Anthony: Grace thinks I'm a failure.
Dignan: What? What has she ever accomplished in her life that's so great?

Bob to Dignan & Anthony: Can I get you guys something to drink?
Dignan: Uh yeah, I'll have a Tom Collins.

(barely audible off screen) How does an [censored] like bob have such a great kitchen?

also barely audible off screen when Dignan threatens and then attempts to call his 'gang' before the imminent bar fight.

Some great subtle moments in "the good, the bad, and the ugly".. the best of which:

watch how Blondie positions himself in the final shootout, knowing what he knows.

It's actually great watching all three characters in this positioning.

Some really great subtle nuances in Dazed and Confused. The way Wiley Wiggins touches his face all the time when he's nervous.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't think this is subtlety ... I think this is bad acting.

i agree 100% i love the movie but that kid's constant face touching drive me insane.

At the end of Revenge of the Sith, when Anakin becomes Darth Vader and he screams out "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO".

I'm drunk. Not very clever humor, but LOL!

The expression on Booger's face before he says, "Hey guys wonder joints" in Revenge of the Nerds.
