Default Fold or Call? (new player)

Party Poker
NL Holdem Ring game
Limit: $0.05/$0.10
10 players

Pre-flop: (10 players) Hero is UTG+1 with 10[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 10[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG folds,Hero raises .50, 1 fold, Vilain calls. Everybody else folds.

Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] HERO bets $1,00, Vilain calls.

Turn: 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] HERO Bets $2.30, Vilain Raises All-in

HERO folds.

I'm pretty new to poker but I wanted some tips here. After thinking about it I doubt he would have called my raise PF with 8,9s or A,9. He knew I didn't have quads though. But his call on the flop could've been with a 9, a flush draw, or a PP higher then 10's, or he's set mining me with a full house I'm guessing. Any insight? The only thing I can really beat is if he's semibluffing a flush draw.

Thanks

He has $9.83, and I have $10.00. I just bought in about 10 hands ago, and don't have much of a read on him. Poker office was down so I have no stats unfortunatly.

Unlucky turn, he might have been making a play thinking the board missed you completely but there arent many hands you could beat that he'd be raising with here so unless he was a maniac i'd say its an easy lay down.

Thanks guys. It sucks loosing a couple of these in a row with your raises, and c-bet etc.

I showed this to a very good poker player and he said a check/call would have been a good idea here too. any thoughts?

BTW nice username CB4mvp
