I agree, I pushed and got called and button had KT and bb had 9T. I suck. Everyone should invite me to their home games, fly me to Vegas and put me up in a suite and laugh at all my jokes and fix me up with their girlfriend's friends so I play in their games.

But, I am hooked up and can buy my own flights so that won't work. Game time I talked myself into pushing and it's just pure evil. I latched onto the fact bb raised on the turn as a stupid excuse to push thinking "no way he's raising if he has a full house and button has a wind range so I might be good."

Reality is, this is such a marginal situation and I should have bet the flop and given it up if I got called or played it at most for a small pot.

I think this is a decent example of how to make friends in the poker world by losing with a straight to two full houses and have everyone tell you what a cooler it was when in fact it was an easy fold.

No one really said why this is an easy fold but for me the more important thing is why get involved? I should have played it for a small pot because looking back at the flop I am looking at getting paid only by 8T, JT, QT, KT or AT and only if the board does not pair and probably only if no diamond comes and then maybe I don't get paid off except maybe vs bb with AT. Versus two people that already makes this a bad proposition to get involved for my stack.

is that seriously how live players think?

meh...if bb raised my 4.5k bet to 10k i very well might fold a10. if he calls then chks river i would certainly value bet trip 10s. is this faultly logic? if so, on whose part is it faulty on, mine or bb's?

Flop is an easy bet in general without some specific reads. As played this is a ridic easy fold.

No. He was making it up so because we have a bet about how many brain dead posts you can make in one night. I seriously think I am losing.

Why is it ridic easy? This is a serious question.

A lot of the time one opp has a boat, but why can't button have a draw and bb have JT, QT, or AT or both have trip tens. In both cases I am a decent amount ahead. So it comes down to whether or not a huge percentage of the time one has a full house. I am serious when I ask whether or not that is so obvious. Would it be shocking if neither had a boat?

Straight flush - not possible
Four of a kind - four of a kind is pretty rare. Most often happens when opponent has nothing (but I have something so not likely)
Full house - possibly, but again I haven't seen a full house in hours
Flush - not possible
Straight - this is my hand.

since only one thing beats me and I haven't seen it in hours, I'm going with my read and not folding 2nd nuts
