Dual internet connections?

I'd like to hook my computer up to two internet connections to decrease the number of disconnects. I know that I've on this forum about special routers that accept two internet connections. But I couldn't find information on it when searching.

Are there any good/bugfree routers that accept two internet connections? Has anyone tried it? How does it actually work, if you lose one of your IP's, does the poker site disconnect you?
