Default Any advantage to firing Carr after this start?

Halftime in the Oregon game and this is very painful. If you agree that Carr must go is there any advantage to letting him go after this game? Can they be any more distracted for the start of the Big 10 season? They can still salvage the season with a Big 10 title? Should they make the change now?

Carr shoulda been out long before the start of this season. I doubt they change it up mid season though, even though they need it.

Distraction is not the problem. Sucking is the problem.

i didn't really know until that halftime interview...making light of being down 32-7 at home the week after losing to a 1-aa team??

i'm all for continuity, and ron english should definitely NOT be the temporary solution, but we need a coach with fire...

aaaaaand, as i type this, mike hart sprains his ankle...

At the very least it would send a message that incompetence and, even worse, apathy during a game is not tolerated by those in charge. If your team's going down in flames anyway, at least glean something positive from the meltdown.

Carr has always done less with more, but this is absolutely ridiculous. He should resign.

I can imagine firing Carr, or having him resign mid season would really harm recruiting.
