I think the Packers look like the right side. Home teams always do well in week 1 historically (I guess u'll just have to trust me cuz I don't have the proof to show u). BUT I do have this for you:

sportsinsights.com has 84% on the Eagles

[/ QUOTE ]

Probably meaningless at this time of week.

and the line opened at pinny on -3 -104...... RIGHT NOW the line is -3 +107. 5dimes is even showing -2.5 -120

[/ QUOTE ]

Currently, it is now -3/-114 at Pinny and -3/-120 at cris and -2.5/-135 at 5D.
Most of the sharp action is not coming in on a Thurs nite or Fri am on this game.

All the squares I know are on Seattle this week laying 6. Too early for true BSP picks, however. [they were all on NOS last nite, however, like 90%.]

sportsinsights:
List of Participating Sportsbooks:

* BetUs (Canada + Costa Rica)
BetUs.com, is licensed and bonded in two recognized gaming jurisdictions, Canada and Costa Rica.
* Carib (Belize) Carib Sports, is a licensed online sportsbook in Belize.
* SportBet (Costa Rica)
SportBet.com is a licensed online sportsbook and casino in Costa Rica.
* Sportsbook.com (Costa Rica)

Not impressive, and certainly not representative, imho. YMMV.

Sea -5.5 is a very good bet. They will dominate TB.

Any thoughts on the Eagles -3 and the Steelers -4.5?

[/ QUOTE ]

Surprised no one else has mentioned Steelers -4.5. Personally, I see this as the best bet of the week. I know several people who are going with the Steelers, on the road, as their survivor pick and that says a lot.

And, uh, Browns run defense? Sounds like one of those 200 yard Willie Parker games. And I don't see Charlie Frye keeping them in it against a strong Steelers D. It's hard to imagine anything but the Steelers winning by 7+.

Also, everyone seems on board with SD -6. I don't know about that. Yes, I know SD is very talented top to bottom, but I still say laying 6 against the Bears D in Week 1 is too risky. I personally have Bears +6 but I'd stay away from this one.

I like the Steelers this year & they're a retarded survivor play this week IMO. They're the same people who took the Rams @ 49ers on opening day a couple years ago.

Why are the Steelers a retarded survivor play?

I know that you're not supposed to play against home dogs, but I like both of these picks. I wrapped it in with the over on the Eagles game for a 3-teamer.

Tomorrow I have Pit, ATL, Den, PHI, Sea

I also have Wash/Mia under 17 for the 1st half. I also parlayed that bet with Seattle.
