I'd do this if I had like 1900 chips or something but your stack makes this awkward.

Re: PS $6.50 Turbo: Raise w KQ or fold?
I don't like these as you get stuck having to put half your stack in after a cbet on the flop.
KQ is a good hand to do this with though since your decisions are very easy from here on and it probably isn't strong enough for a shove. |

Re: PS $6.50 Turbo: Raise w KQ or fold?
i fold from this spot. if i had t1500 or so i'll raise it from late position, if i've got t1700 i'll raise it from mid-position. also if i had t1100 on the button i'm probably gonna shove. just some ideas on how to play KQs from different positions.

Re: PS $6.50 Turbo: Raise w KQ or fold?
fold PF. as said with a bigger stack the raise would be fine but with your stacksize I wouldn't raise here. LP a raise would be fine. I would make it about 3BB.

Re: PS $6.50 Turbo: Raise w KQ or fold?
Is this a turbo? Will the blinds go up before they get to you? Maybe I need to rethink my game a bit but I'm shovin' here probably 95% of the time. I think you've still got enough fold equity with only two non random hands left to act. Plus, unless you've been playing like a real donk, they've got to know your not shoving atc here. With a stack this short your not apt to get many hands better than this in the next couple orbits.
edit: yep, turbo, didn't read the title well enuf. |

Re: PS $6.50 Turbo: Raise w KQ or fold?
raising is awful due to already mentioned stacksize-reasons.
i think this might be a close fold, because people at a 6.50 can't fold 44. a push seems not bad tho |

Re: PS $6.50 Turbo: Raise w KQ or fold?
I would only be raising there if you are going to continue regardless of the flop. Or if you are comfortable with losing that 250 if an ace shows up. Im in favor of continuation against known weak oponents but I think here you are really looking to pick up the blinds without a fight if you are unsure you can carry off continuation. Maybe until you are comfortable getting aggressive in stages through betting rounds you should take the decision out and shove. Im not a fan of KQ suited or otherwise unless im seeing a flop. These days even with a shove you are looking at any pair calling as they justify calling off with any pair with "I put you an AK". If something doesnt feel right you fold it. Im all for Lagging out as a preference but I know if it feels wrong for the situation I would rather have a small stack that I have to work hard than no stack at all.
