Re: Can he really be bluffing here? 2/4 NL
bah, you ninja editor you, you make me look like a fool =(
and no i didn't say i was folding to any river bet, i was just iterating that i don't think it gets bet very often which makes calling more attractive, and i think weak players tend to play much more passively on scary boards, which also makes calling more attractive. honestly i base a lot of my decisions here on timing/betsizing tells, that's probably a bit of a copout answer but i have gotten pretty accurate at reading bluffs in river situations like this, so i think call sometimes/fold most of the time is the way to go. if most draws complete, then yes i think it's an easy fold, but he's not going to be bluffing here that often either. i hope i'm not trying to make myself sound like god or something, but random unknowns timing tells are pretty freaking blatant, especially with plenty of flop and turn timing tells to help complete the picture... but yes, i'm folding on most rivers, and i don't see why this logic {call turn b/c of odds, fold river} is contradictory, because your post seems to imply that. |

Re: Can he really be bluffing here? 2/4 NL
I would call turn here for sure, and probably call a small bet on most blank rivers
