Re: How do you keep a live bankroll?
[ QUOTE ]
Lol my last live bankroll is now investet in computer games, clothes, alcohol ect.^^ you cannot have money at home and don't spend it. [/ QUOTE ] Wow, not much self control? I have a savings account and cash in a shoe (usually no more than 5 buy ins at 1/2 - $1000). Only a couple of times have I taken money out of there for non-poker reason (like we order pizza and I can't find the checkbook). My father in law had a check for $1500 once and was saying he needed to deposit it and get cash and I was like, "oh, lemme check my poker stash, I think I can cash it for you." He was impressed. |

Re: How do you keep a live bankroll?
I also have a separate poker bank account. I keep 10 buy-ins in cash in my gun safe. I also spend directly out of my cash roll for family expenses - I don't have a strict monthly nut nor do I strictly segregate my roll. I keep records in an appointment calendar for tax purposes.
When I was first starting out, I kept my cash roll in a small fireproof safe I got at Kmart for $25. |
