Default NL 100 4-bet

played that hand against a 2+2er
hes 13\9\3 over a large sample

im not sure about both our play preflop.

First I want to know if the size of my 4-bet is ok.

And i dont understand his call (he had AKs)
I think its either push or fold but he just called.

If I 4-bet, I probably push any flop so he need to hit (33% of the time I think) and then hes not even sure he has the best hand.

So why did he make that play?? what am I missing

[/ QUOTE ] not all 2p2ers are actually good in practice even if they understand basic principles outside the game esp. if they play lots of tables.

"If I 4-bet, I probably push any flop so he need to hit (33% of the time I think) and then hes not even sure he has the best hand"

Knowing that, he could have deduced that your holding was no tighter than the range AA-QQ, AKs, making him about a 5/3 dog. Depending on your table image, he might have made it even wider than that, if JJ+, AKo+ he is then only a slight dog.

Knowing that you would push the flop, he can take full advantage of his position and take a peek, with all the implied odds he needs to play in this way.

That's the price you pay for a 4 bet, you are virtually face up and you have given him workable implied odds. I'd be more inclined to play the way you did with AA or KK. Maybe you should have pushed instead of 4betting.
